Nature & Grace Committee exists to support opportunities that help people grow in wisdom, faith and purpose throughout the Catholic Diocese of Wagga Wagga. Through the generous stewardship of donors and benefactors, we help fund initiatives that strengthen formation, foster community and encourage active participation in the life and mission of the Church.

Inspired by the teaching of St Thomas Aquinas that grace perfects nature, Nature & Grace Committee believes that every person is created with God-given gifts waiting to flourish.
Rather than operating programs itself, the committee exists to support and sustain opportunities that foster faith formation, personal growth and community life throughout the Diocese of Wagga Wagga.
By connecting generosity with meaningful initiatives, Nature & Grace helps create lasting opportunities for individuals, families and parish communities to grow in wisdom, deepen their faith and participate more fully in the mission of the Church.
At a time when many people experience isolation and disconnection, strong and welcoming communities matter. By supporting the formation of individuals, Nature & Grace seeks to strengthen the relationships and sense of belonging that connect people within their parishes – and beyond them.
When we invest in people, that investment reaches far beyond one person. Through meaningful initiatives, individuals are encouraged to grow in wisdom, deepen their faith and develop their God-given gifts, taking what they have received back into their families, parishes and the wider community.

Nature & Grace exists to nurture the spiritual, personal and communal flourishing of people throughout the Diocese.
Inspired by Luke 2:52, we believe authentic formation nurtures the whole person, helping individuals grow in wisdom, maturity and favour with God and others.
Through responsible stewardship, we support initiatives that:
- Encourage faith formation
- Strengthen parish communities
- Develop God-given gifts and leadership
- Foster lifelong discipleship
- Encourage participation in the life and mission of the Church

Currently Supporting in 2026
Grace & Virtue Human Formation Program
Nature & Grace Committee is proud to support its first major initiative, the Grace & Virtue Human Formation Program, delivered in partnership with Virtue Ministry.
This nine-month formation journey helps parishioners, those discerning a vocation to the priesthood and members of the wider Catholic community integrate their faith into everyday life and in making a gift of themselves to their church through practical skill building, spiritual growth, and authentic community all whilst being formed in the virtues.
Participants explore themes including:
- Health
- Stewardship
- Home
- Relationships
- Mission & Ministry
- Christian Vocation to Holiness
A key part of the program is discovering personal charisms and God-given gifts and learning how these can be put into action in service of others. Participants are also supported to develop and bring to life a practical project within their own parish community.
Through face-to-face workshops, guided learning, practical exercises and monthly small group formation sessions, participants are encouraged to deepen their relationship with Christ, discover their God-given gifts, grow in self-knowledge, discern their vocation, and participate more fully in the life and mission of the Church.
The program concludes with a celebration event where participants, benefactors and parish communities gather to witness the fruits of formation and celebrate the flourishing of faith across the Diocese.
